Report: Justise Winslow Out for Season with Torn Labrum
For the Heat, injuries have started to become the story of their season. The majority of the key players on their team have missed time at some point this season because of injuries. Because of that, we have been unable to see the Heat fully healthy and playing to their expectations. While the team didn’t have the highest of expectations going into the season, it was expected that they would be able to have a decent season. Now that Winslow is out for the rest of the reason, they will be missing one of the most important pieces in their rebuild.
For the Heat, Winslow has been able to do a little bit of everything. Last season, which was his rookie season, he developed quite quickly and was able to provide a big spark off the bench for the Heat, even in the playoffs. That says a lot about Winslow, considering he was a rookie. He was currently averaging 10.9 PPG, 5.2 RPG, and 3.7 APG.
The Heat currently sit at 10-26 and are 13th in the Eastern Conference. They are on a six-game losing streak and will face off against the Sacramento Kings tonight. With Winslow no longer suiting up this season, things might only get worse for the Heat in their injury-ridden season.
